Dear English Teacher,
As the summer approaches, I couldn't help but think of our time together in sixth grade. It was such a wonderful year, and you were such an amazing teacher. I miss you so much.
Do you remember how we started every class with a warm-up exercise? We would do tongue twisters, word games, and silly rhymes. It was so much fun, and it helped us improve our pronunciation and vocabulary. I still remember some of them, like "How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?"
And do you remember the time we did a class play? It was "Romeo and Juliet," and I got to play Juliet. You helped us with our lines, our acting, and our costumes. We had so much fun rehearsing and performing in front of the whole school. I learned a lot about Shakespeare and about teamwork.
But what I miss the most is your kind and patient guidance. You always encouraged us to speak up, to ask questions, and to express ourselves in English. You made us believe that we could learn a new language and enjoy it. You gave us the confidence and the motivation to keep learning, even after sixth grade.
So, English Teacher, I hope you have a happy summer. I hope you have time to relax, to read, and to travel. But I also hope you remember that you have made a difference in my life and in the lives of many other students. You have inspired us, challenged us, and nurtured us. You have given us the gift of language and the joy of learning. Thank you.
Sincerely,
Your former student
